In August 2019, another gospel choir was born within Gospel Fellowship Sønderborg! Gospel4Ever had its very first rehearsal on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019, and now counts around 25 members – but there’s always room for more!
Maybe you’re thinking, “I can’t sing in a choir… I can’t sing gospel… and I definitely can’t sing in English!” Don’t worry – we’ll learn together, and you’ll soon find your own place in the choir.
The choir is open to singers of all ages who would like to sing gospel on Wednesday mornings. The choir originally started as a 60+ choir, and many members are still in that age group – but everyone is welcome!
Practical information
The choir meets on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM (there’s usually coffee ready a little before 10). From 11:30 to 12:00, we enjoy our packed lunches together – so don’t forget your lunch, and make time to enjoy the fellowship after singing!
The membership fee is 550 DKK per half-year. Like the other Wednesday choirs, we take a break on the first Wednesday of each month. Fees can be paid to our account at Danske Bank: Reg. 1569 – Account no. 11930522.
If you sing in more than one choir within Gospel Fellowship Sønderborg, you pay full price for the most expensive, half price for the next, and the rest are free. When you join, the first two rehearsals are trial sessions – after that, you decide if you’d like to continue. Once registered and the fee is paid, you’ll receive a song booklet.
The choir doesn’t perform many concerts – but when we do, our dress code is black with a touch of green.
